The intent was to create a space that encourages a child’s –

LIBERATION

This child-centric design features ergonomically suited furniture and a muted colour palette, allowing the children to create the space their very own canvas. 

PLAY 

Throughout the outdoor play area, activity walls frame the garden behind, with varied endeavours ranging from doodle boards, playthings, to musical instruments, leading to the sensory area with mosaic floors. 

UNDERSTANDING

In the Counselling office, research and design are combined. Paper tubes installed here graphically display all the visions for the school, with seamless connection to outdoor seating, radiating openness. 

SAFETY 

Child safety doors in staircases and EPDM rubber flooring in the outdoor area of MI Arena aid precaution. 

ADAPTABILITY

A multiple intelligence arena has been created respecting 8 types of different ‘smart’ a child can be, with each dedicated corner honing the respective skill.
