This house in Pune is envisioned as a serene retreat within the expanding suburban fabric, where architecture and landscape merge into a seamless, continuous experience. The design is shaped around two courtyards, placed at opposite ends, which become anchors of light, air, and life. Between them, semi-open green bridges gently carry the landscape through the house, allowing nature to pass inside and blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
The front courtyard, with its tall trees, forms a calm threshold — a soft pause between the city and the home. A semi-transparent screen wraps the facade, offering privacy while filtering light and shadows, creating a layered and intimate edge.
This house aims to create a peaceful home within the busy city. By adding courtyards, greenery, and open connections, the design improves daily living, brings natural light and ventilation, and creates a healthy, comfortable, and nature-connected environment for the family.
