Savanna Escape: Resort at Tadoba

The resort draws from the cultural and material traditions of the Gond tribe, native to the Tadoba region. Gond art flows across walls and surfaces, becoming part of the spatial experience and storytelling of the resort. The material palette remains rooted in the local context, using rammed earth walls, shingles, and exposed structural systems to express an honest, grounded architecture adapted to the region.

Savanna Escape is envisioned as a low-impact forest resort set within the Tadoba landscape, where built forms remain light on the land and visually connected to the surrounding forest. The resort is arranged around a central shallow water body, creating a calm shared heart and comfortable microclimate within the forest setting. The resort is planned as a collection of individual units, each offering a distinct spatial experience while maintaining privacy.

Each unit is organised with service functions placed along the entry edge, while primary living and sleeping spaces open towards unobstructed forest views.
