Oswal House

When the clients envisioned their home, they brought together two ideas—the quiet restraint of Shibui and a sense of playfulness. The design responds through a balanced composition, where each space feels distinct yet connected. A continuous material palette of Kota stone and green-toned tiles creates seamless flow from the entrance to the kitchen, finished in wood, whites, and muted greens.
In the living room, four repeating arches form a defining feature, set against green and white marble, doubling as functional shelving. Playful elements emerge subtly—like a swivel TV unit shared with the parents’ bedroom.
Private spaces soften in tone. The master bedroom feels serene with stone, wood, and glass blocks, while the children’s room introduces pastel mint hues and vibrant tiles. Their washroom adds surprise with a glowing mosaic. The parents’ room remains calm in grey-blue tones.
Together, the home balances stillness with interaction—cohesive, expressive, and thoughtfully layered.
